A small footprint

Wakewing does not require an account. Harbor, unit and favorite preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage. Clear your browser’s site data to remove them.

The website and data interface run on Cloudflare. Requests necessarily include network information such as an IP address; Cloudflare may process this for delivery and security. We do not run advertising pixels or behavior-tracking scripts in this release.

Your browser requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap and mapping code from the unpkg content delivery service. Those services receive normal request information. The selected harbor is a public observation station, not a device location. Wakewing does not request your location, microphone or camera.

A sponsorship link, if enabled, will be labeled. Advertising networks will require a separate configuration and an updated privacy notice before activation. No email subscriptions or contact database are collected in this release.
